Core Group Resources in Houston seeks an experienced Dredging Superintendent to lead daily dredging and marine construction operations on challenging projects. You will direct field crews, coordinate equipment and support vessels, and liaison with the Project Manager to meet production, safety, and quality targets.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in dredging or marine field leadership, strong planning and reporting skills, and a proven commitment to safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of superintendent or field leadership on dredging/marine projects.
• Proven ability to manage field crews, equipment, and on-water operations.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and contract compliance skills.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and safety leadership.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily dredging and marine construction operations safely and efficiently.
• Lead field crews, equipment personnel, and support staff.
• Monitor production, equipment use, manpower, and project performance.
• Coordinate with Project Manager on plans, milestones, and safety.
• Plan daily and look-ahead field activities to maintain operations.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and environmental permits.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce safety policies.
• Report hazards, incidents, and field conditions to management.
• Travel extensively and stay at project sites as needed.
