Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, ID, is seeking a DRAM and Emerging Memory Quality Engineer to define quality criteria and drive actions to prevent issues across Technology Development and high-volume products.

You will partner with Process Integration, Product Engineering and Quality teams to establish specs, lead FMEA, communicate findings, and implement controls that improve reliability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Fab Processes and Integration Flows.
• Understanding of electrical specifications, Probe and Param registers.
• Understanding of Reliability items for CMOS and Array.
• Familiar with Backend test flow and major failure modes.
• Strong facilitation and clear communication of complex topics.
• 5+ years Fab-related experience.
• Education BS or higher in Electrical or Electronics Engineering; or Materials Science and Engineering, or Physics.
• Process Integration and/or Design rule experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define quality criteria and communicate quality and reliability issues to Technology Development.
• Define, lead and drive actions on key technology challenges to bring higher quality solutions to market sooner.
• Prevent quality and reliability issues by implementing effective detections and controls.
• Maintain communication between Process Integration, Product Engineering and Quality Teams for key issues.
• Develop FMEA documents for technologies transferring to manufacturing.
