Job summary

Location: Hybrid - DFX TX (Remote Monday & Friday | Onsite Tuesday-Thursday)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead .NET Backend Developer to support the development and integration of enterprise HRIS applications. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will collaborate with managers, architects, and both onshore and offshore development teams to design, build, and maintain scalable backend solutions. This position does not include direct people management responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

• 7-9+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET Core/.NET.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and integration services.
• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Functions and Microsoft Azure services.
• Strong experience with MS SQL Server, SQL, and database design.
• Experience working with Cosmos DB.
• Experience writing user stories, managing product backlogs, and participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
• Experience leading technical development efforts and coordinating with distributed or offshore development teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience gathering business and technical requirements.
• IT project coordination or project management experience.
• Experience with HRIS platforms or HR system integrations (preferred but not required).
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Azure Event Hubs or MQ.
• Experience with Azure storage technologies including Blob Storage, Azure File Shares, or NAS.
• Knowledge of high availability, resiliency, disaster recovery, auto-scaling, and multi-region deployments.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
