Job summary

BGCSF in San Francisco seeks a Leadership Annual Giving Manager who will oversee the individual giving program, manage a leadership donor portfolio, and collaborate with the Senior Director of Major Gifts to advance donor relations.

You will develop campaigns, coordinate communications with Marketing, plan events, and ensure timely reporting in Salesforce, while contributing to BGCSF's mission to support youth in the community.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of fund development experience, with an emphasis on individual giving or annual fund management.
• Exceptional written, oral, and presentation skills with experience developing clear funding proposals.
• Strong organizational, time management, and detail-oriented skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively with senior management, Board members, and external stakeholders.
• Commitment to advocacy for people, culture, and belonging values and practices.
• Preferred: Salesforce or other CRM databases.
• Preferred: Event planning and donor engagement experience.
• Preferred: MailChimp or similar email marketing tools.

Responsibilities

• Steward & Solicit Donors — Manage a personal leadership-level donor portfolio of ~300+ donors and prospects.
• Expand Donor Pipeline — Support stewardship and pipeline meetings through strategy, tracking, and administrative support.
• Partner on Communications Strategy — Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop annual donor communications strategies, stewardship plans, direct mail campaigns, and digital donor engagement.
• Lead Campaign Fundraising — Develop and lead fundraising strategy for year-end, spring, and LYBUNT campaigns, managing donor segmentation and vendor relationships.
• Plan Donor Events — Organize and implement events, receptions, and tours for leadership-level donors to drive engagement and retention.
• Maintain CRM & Reporting — Ensure clear and timely tracking of all donor communications in Salesforce/CRM, providing regular qualitative and quantitative reporting to department leadership.
• Support Signature Events — Participate in signature fundraising events and Board gatherings with on-site responsibilities and solicit portfolio donors for sponsorships, tickets, and fund-the-need gifts.
