Job summary

Scenthound Bonita Springs is seeking a confident Lead Groomer to guide the grooming and bathing teams, share expertise, and uphold Scenthound standards.

You will mentor new groomers, schedule daily tasks, ensure safety and cleanliness, and maintain a compassionate, dog-focused learning environment. A background in grooming and ability to lead, teach, and communicate with dog parents is essential. Join our team to help pets stay healthy and happy.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of grooming experience or graduation from a grooming school.
• Knowledge of dog breeds, care standards, and tools of the trade.
• Strength to lift up to 70 pounds; stamina to stand long periods.
• Reliable transportation; smoke-free environment.

Responsibilities

• Groom to Scenthound standards while providing leadership and mentorship.
• Lead grooming and bathing teams; ensure schedule adherence.
• Create a learning-friendly environment with open communication.
• Teach new groomers the Scenthound standards; provide coaching.
• Identify needs and assist to keep the center on schedule.
• Ensure safety of dogs and team members at all times.
• Adhere to sanitary and cleaning practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Center Manager.
