Qualifications

• Typically 5+ years in warehouse/dock or freight operations; supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety procedures; forklift certification or hazmat training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and efficient dock operations for all terminal staff.
• Direct and evaluate dockworkers to ensure proper equipment use and procedure adherence.
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure compliance with DOT standards and company policies.
• Train and coach dockworkers on safety, performance, and equipment handling.
• Review reports and recommend improvements to terminal efficiency and service.
• Promote a safe, clean, and organized dock environment.
