Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Valid forklift certification/licensure or ability to obtain before operating equipment.
• 3+ years of dock or warehouse experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to recognize numbers, labels, barcodes, and freight markings and perform basic arithmetic.
• Willingness to learn basic computer systems and handheld devices.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks, dollies, and other MHE safely.
• Ability to stand and lift up to 50 lbs regularly, with occasional heavier lifts.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Move, stage, sort, and position freight between doors and warehouse areas.
• Pick, pack, and prepare items for shipping and delivery.
• Assist drivers with loading/unloading following safety procedures.
• Label, scan, and track freight for accurate documentation.
• Identify damaged freight and report safety or equipment issues.
• Maintain a safe, organized dock environment and follow PPE standards.
• Train and mentor new Material Handlers as needed.
• Work assigned schedules, including nights, weekends, or overtime as required.
