Job summary

Eastern Lift Truck Co. in New Jersey seeks a Dock and Door Lead Technician to support our local territory. You will oversee repairs of overhead doors and dock leveling systems, guide a team, and ensure workmanship meets policy and customer expectations.

The role requires experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems; welding/fabrication is a plus. You must have your own tools, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, diagnosing, repairing, inspecting, and maintaining commercial overhead steel doors.
• Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Welding or fabricating experience a plus.
• Must have own tools for field service.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist in repair of overhead door and dock leveling systems.
• Research and resolve issues to customer satisfaction within policy while interacting effectively with persons of diverse backgrounds.
• Performs commercial and industrial maintenance and repairs on a variety of overhead doors and dock leveling systems.
• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems pertaining to the operation of overhead doors and dock leveling systems.
• Works from ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts. Wears PPE and fall protection.
