Job summary

Genentech is seeking a DMPK leader to drive strategy for small molecule programs across discovery and development. You will design and oversee in vitro and in vivo ADME/PK studies, translate findings into human PK/dose predictions and guide project teams with senior stakeholders.

The role requires a PhD in pharmacokinetics or related field and 2+ years of industry DMPK leadership experience. Domestic relocation is offered and a discretionary bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• PhD in pharmacokinetics, drug metabolism, pharmaceutical sciences or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience as a DMPK project leader.
• Strong knowledge of ADME, PK, and integration of DMPK data into decisions.
• Experience designing, interpreting and integrating nonclinical DMPK studies.
• Ability to communicate complex scientific data to multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead DMPK strategy and oversee non-clinical studies in a project team environment.
• Design, oversee, interpret and translate nonclinical DMPK data into human PK predictions.
• Serve as the DMPK representative on multidisciplinary project teams and communicate recommendations.
• Identify DMPK-related risks and develop mitigation strategies.
