FirstEnergy Corp. is seeking a on-site supervisor in Ohio to lead transmission and distribution field teams across multiple locations, including Hartville, OH. The role emphasizes safety, workforce development, and adherence to standards while ensuring schedule commitments are met.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, 7+ years in electrical operations, and experience with SAP/FLEX/GIS/Cascade systems. This position supports critical infrastructure and public safety in the Central Region.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 7 years related experience in an electrical field.
• Knowledge of operations, repair and construction of assigned Transmission and Distribution area.
• Advanced knowledge of applicable safety standards and construction practices.
• Previous management/leadership experience desired.

Responsabilités

• Directing and supervising employees engaged in construction, maintenance, repair, testing and operation of electric transmission & distribution systems.
• Developing and maintaining safety awareness among employees.
• Monitoring activities and enforcing conformance to established work practices and methods.
• Implementing instruction and training of employees in established work practices.
• Understanding and following procedures and labor agreement terms.
• Coordinating equipment, tools, materials and supplies as needed.
