Job summary

Intuit in Mountain View seeks a Distinguished AI Scientist for its AI, Research, and Futures organization to steer the future of Intuit's AI-powered products. You will research, solve high-impact AI problems, and lead development and deployment of novel technologies across our product portfolio to benefit millions of customers.

Qualifications

• MS / Ph.D. in CS, statistics, or applied mathematics with focus on AI/ML or equivalent experience.
• Deep technical expertise in GenAI and LLMs with RL, fine-tuning, multimodal models.
• Demonstrated research in AI through publications at leading journals/conferences.
• 10+ years of experience developing and deploying AI solutions solving customer problems.
• Experience translating business requirements into prototypes using Python or ML frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong CS/Data Science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and MLOps.

Responsibilities

• Define and solve Grand Challenges – high-impact AI problems.
• Contribute to a multi-year technical roadmap with AI leadership.
• Build end-to-end AI solutions showcasing state-of-the-art research.
• Collaborate with business units to accelerate testing and deployment of new tech.
• Ensure excellence in data quality, model evaluation, and lifecycle management.
• Champion responsible AI practices, ensuring fair, transparent models.
• Mentor top scientific talent and foster innovation.
