Job summary

Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, MI seeks an experienced Senior Center Stack EESE Engineer to lead the development of next-generation display technology across the GPDS/OPD lifecycle.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver center stack components meeting engineering requirements and production-readiness goals. 7–10 years in product development and CAD/CA E tool proficiency (CATIA, VisMockup) are required. On-site role with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing engineering concepts to support RFQ process.
• Partner with Design Studio to assess concepts, evaluate engineering feasibility, and support Class A surface development.
• Drive PMT2 deliverables and program milestones, including GI, FEDEBOM, VSEM, DFMEA, DVPR, EMC, and PAAT.
• Lead technical design reviews with Tier 1 suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Support vehicle builds from BOM validation to production readiness milestones.
• Manage engineering changes and approvals (DCR, ED&T, CPE DF, FEDEBOM, CMF, WERS, Change Control).
• Represent Center Stack EESE components in Vehicle Architecture package meetings.
• Collaborate with global Body Interior, EESE, and Program Integration teams to meet packaging, design, performance requirements for Center Stack EESE.
• Manage the Center Stack (YO) assembly BOM; develop 3D CAD components and interface strategies.
• Build and maintain Center Stack assembly BOM; deliver high-quality EESE CAD data to CAE for model, crash, and thermal analysis.
