Job summary

Apple Inc. in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a cross-functional display technology architect to envision, define, and implement next-generation display features with direct customer impact.

You will collaborate with EE, software, firmware, system and silicon teams to architect solutions spanning hardware and software, and engage with internal experience partners and the Pro Workflow team to understand customer requirements.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering with 10+ years in complex system design (hardware, firmware, software).
• Experience with OLED display hardware and touch interfaces is a plus.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills; ability to communicate across hardware, software and customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of display features from concept to delivery across HW, FW, and SW.
• Define HW/FW/SW architectures, interfaces, silicon integration, and timing.
• Develop rigorous engineering requirements and specifications for cross-functional teams.
• Perform interdisciplinary analysis to bridge theory and implementation.
• Prototype and demonstrate new display technologies and capabilities.
• Support design implementations and prototypes in hardware, firmware, and software, including factory validation.
• Define performance metrics considering power, speed, and customer experience.
