Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a seasoned leader to provide strategic direction for the Portfolio Management function across local markets, segments and verticals. You will define portfolio strategy, drive product roadmaps, and oversee end‑to‑end execution in a healthcare context.

The role can be remote or hybrid, with preference for Eastern or Central Time. You will lead a matrixed team, partner with product, sales, underwriting, actuarial, and other stakeholders to accelerate delivery and impact.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in product management, portfolio management, healthcare benefits, or related strategic leadership roles within the healthcare industry.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience, including leading managers and/or highly matrixed teams
• Demonstrated success developing and executing portfolio strategies that drive growth, retention, customer value, and business performance
• Executive-level presentation and storytelling skills

Responsibilities

• Defining portfolio strategy translating market intelligence, buyer needs, competitive insights, and performance data into differentiated product, program, and solution roadmaps
• Driving end-to-end portfolio performance, monitoring key metrics and adjusting strategies to achieve business objectives
• Translating strategy into execution defining priorities, creating timelines, and project managing deliverables while managing risks and dependencies
• Driving alignment across a matrixed organization, partnering closely with Product, Sales, Underwriting, Actuarial, and other stakeholders to accelerate delivery and impact
• Leading change management and continuous improvement (including AI) across segments and markets
