Job summary

The Foreman at SolPowerlines, LLC leads the directional boring crew, reviewing plans, guiding safety, and ensuring quality workmanship on every project. You will coordinate with utility reps, inspectors, subcontractors, and customers, supervise equipment setup, monitor bore paths, and enforce company safety policies in outdoor construction environments.

This role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to adapt to changing conditions, including emergency responses

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3–5 years of directional boring, underground utility, or related construction experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and crew management experience.
• Ability to read utility locates and construction drawings.
• CDL preferred depending on equipment and job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily activities of the directional boring crew.
• Conduct daily job briefings and ensure understanding of scope, hazards, and safety procedures.
• Ensure proper utility locating and verification before boring operations.
• Read and interpret plans, prints, staking, specs and work orders.
• Supervise setup and operation of directional boring equipment and related machinery.
