Job summary

Hope Network is seeking a Lead Direct Support Professional for the West Lake location in Lowell, MI. This full-time 2nd shift role provides oversight, direct care, and leadership on shift to help individuals build independence.

You will mentor staff, assist with on-call responsibilities, and ensure proper implementation of care plans while promoting a supportive, person-centered environment. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Require: bachelor\'s degree with 2 years in applicable setting or an associate degree with 3 years or a high school diploma with 4 years in applicable setting.
• Valid driver\'s license is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to pass background checks and fingerprints.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.

The Lead Direct Care Professional provides oversight, support, and direct care to individuals served by Hope Network across a variety of settings. This role serves as a leader on shift, modeling person-centered support, promoting independence, and ensuring the implementation of medical, clinical, therapeutic, and behavioral support plans. The Lead Direct Care Professional also mentors, trains, and orients new staff, assists with on-call responsibilities, and provides guidance and support to team members when supervisors are unavailable or off-site.
