Community Options, Inc. in Lubbock, TX is hiring a Full-Time Lead Direct Support Professional to guide a care team in delivering person-centered support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The role focuses on supervision, training, and ensuring quality daily operations at an assigned location. Starting pay is $14.20 per hour, with benefits including health insurance, paid holidays, PTO, a 403b plan, and opportunities for career growth within a supportive team

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports.
• Employment is contingent upon successful checks (criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing).

Aufgaben

• Provide direct care to individuals tailored to ISP/PCP.
• Assist training of team members for programmatic initiatives and daily routines.
• Assist with daily routines including cleaning, cooking established meals, feeding, medication administration, and personal hygiene.
• Monitor health and medical needs; report concerns.
• Ensure program documentation and billable records are completed accurately and timely.
• Participate with individuals in community, social, and recreational activities.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked work locations and vehicles with necessary supplies.
• Cooperate with licensing and department staff during inspections or inquiries.
