Job summary

Community Options, Inc. in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Lead Direct Support Professional to provide person-centered care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and to lead a local team.

The role includes supporting ISP/PCP goals, coordinating daily routines, and ensuring services run smoothly while promoting safety and wellbeing. Starting pay is $14.20 per hour with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Must be able to establish a supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care tailored to each individual's ISP/PCP.
• Assist in training team members to support program goals and routines.
• Assist with daily routines including cooking, meals, feeding, and hygiene.
• Monitor health needs and report concerns.
• Ensure documentation and billing records are accurate and timely.
• Participate in community, social, and recreational activities with individuals.
• Keep locations and vehicles clean and stocked with supplies.
• Cooperate with licensing staff during inspections.
• Additional tasks as assigned.
