Job summary

Resources for Human Development is seeking a Lead Direct Support Professional in Verona, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will directly support the Site Supervisor, mentor Direct Support Professionals, and provide essential direct care to consumers. A minimum of a High School diploma, alongside preferred experience or education, is required for this position.

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a valid driver's license, and an understanding of trauma-informed care principles. This position aims to enhance consumers’ independent living skills through collaborative efforts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience working with individuals with IDD and/or Mental Health issues.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record within the last 5 years.
• Basic computer and internet literacy.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Supervisor in maintaining program operations.
• Mentor and provide feedback to Direct Support Professionals.
• Ensure service implementation according to Individual Service Plans.
