Job summary

Doma is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals in Hudson, WI to assist individuals in living independently and achieving personal goals. The role involves direct care, daily living support, and coordinating medical and community activities.

Salary is $19.00 per hour, with full-time staffing from Monday to Friday, 8am to 3pm. Benefits include PTO, 401(k), and on-demand pay; require a high school diploma, driver’s license, and clean background.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license if driving is required.
• No more than two minor moving violations in the past 3 years.
• No major violations in the past 5 years (DUI, etc).
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for individuals' privacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support assistance to the person served.
• Assist person served with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Complete mandatory online training modules.
• Help individuals develop and maintain independent living skills.
• Provide transportation to appointments and community activities.
• Administer medication and monitor health conditions.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and other team members.
• Menu planning and grocery shopping for the house.
• Serve as the backup for the supervisor.
• Develop and oversee the activity calendar.
• Execute and oversee all areas of medical appointments for residents.
• Provide MAR and medication reviews at every shift.
• Money management oversight.
