Job summary

Advance Kids is seeking a Lead Direct Service Professional to support adults in residential crisis programs in Orangevale, CA. You will supervise staff, respond to crisis behaviors, and assist with daily living skills, meals, and activities.

The role requires supervisory experience, 12 months with ID/DD, and weekend availability. California locations include Orangevale and Rio Linda. RBT certification is expected within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months supervisory experience.
• Minimum 12 months experience with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Ability to work every weekend.
• Ability to work in California locations: Orangevale or Rio Linda.
• Willingness to obtain RBT certification within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Community Crisis Home staff and ensure program design is followed.
• Respond safely and effectively to crisis behaviors.
• Support daily living skills and independence.
• Coordinate outings, appointments, medications, and meals.
• Maintain the home environment and assist with upkeep.
• Engage clients in enriching activities.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.
