Job summary

Merakey is hiring a Lead Direct Support Professional (LDSP) for our Antioch, CA program. This full-time role involves leading direct care for individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior plans, and promoting health and dignity across community and home settings.

Earn $28–$30 per hour with a $2/hour raise after obtaining the RBT certification. Merakey offers comprehensive benefits and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a verifiable/High School Diploma/G.E.D.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Dual Diagnose experience preferred.
• Must have 1 year of paid verifiable experience providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities, with a focus on behavioral services; and
• Required to complete a DSP 1 and DSP 2 certification, within 1 year of hired date.
• Required to complete an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification within 60 days of hired date.

Responsibilities

• Lead DSPs interact and support individuals with developmental disabilities in various settings.
• Assist with direct care and implementation of behavior plans.
• Support health, safety, dignity and contentment while training in personal care, communication, and social skills.
