Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Full Time Lead Direct Support Professional to join our team in Redding, CA. The role focuses on direct care for individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior plans and promoting dignity and independence.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of paid experience, a valid driver’s license, and DSP1/DSP2 within 1 year plus RBT within 60 days. Earn $22–$24 per hour with rate increases after RBT certification.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of paid verifiable experience providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities, with a focus on behavioral services.
• Certifications DSP1, DSP2 within 1 year of hire date and RBT within 60 days.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work full-time as a Lead Direct Support Professional.

Responsibilities

• Lead direct care for individuals with developmental disabilities in varied settings.
• Implement and monitor behavior plans to promote health, safety and independence.
• Assist with daily living skills, communication and social development.
• Mentor and supervise team members as part of the LDSP role.
