Dungarvin is a mission-driven provider of support services dedicated to helping individuals live independently with dignity and respect. This full-time Lead Direct Support Professional role offers a 40-hour weekly schedule with weekend and day shifts in Indiana, starting at $17.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, supportive care and guidance.
• Coordinate services across finance, medical, recreation, program services, family involvement, education and household management.
• Offer direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with disabilities to empower independence.
• Ensure comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry tasks.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting and personal hygiene.

ALead Direct Support Professional is responsible for the coordination of services to the individuals served, including finance, medical, recreation, program services, family contact/involvement, education, and household management. A Lead provides direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with mental, intellectual & developmental, and physical disabilities. The ultimate goal is to empower individuals with disabilities to live as independently and comfortably as possible while maintaining their dignity and respect.

• Provide hands‑on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties
• Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene and more.
• Assist with financials and documentation.
