Job summary

REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family, is hiring a full-time Lead Direct Support Professional (onsite) in Marion, Iowa. Starting pay is $21–$22 per hour, depending on shift, with on-demand pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will mentor individuals, support daily living activities, and help promote community inclusion while pursuing personal and developmental goals. Must have 6 months field experience and a valid drivers license.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in direct support or related field.
• Valid drivers license for at least 1 year and clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Successful clearance of background checks.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in reaching personal and developmental goals.
• Build trusting relationships as mentor, advocate, and friend.
• Take initiative and contribute ideas daily.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meals, medication, personal care, and outings.
• Promote inclusion by helping individuals engage with their communities.
