Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking a Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver to support individuals in a residential group home setting. You will mentor and assist with daily activities, help individuals pursue personal goals, and ensure health and safety through hands-on care and documentation.

Responsibilities include medication administration, crisis‑management support, staff mentoring, and coordinating transportation and community activities.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required to transport persons served.
• Experience with adults with mental health issues, disabilities or related experience.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage crises.
• Demonstrated decision making and judgment in caregiving settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living support and mentorship to people served in the group home.
• Mentor individuals to increase independence and participation in activities.
• Administer medications and monitor medical well‑being of those served.
• Attend team meetings and contribute to care planning and documentation.
• Assist with groceries, transportation to appointments, scheduling, and drills.
