Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking a Lead Dining Services Server to deliver prompt, courteous meal service to residents and guests in the dining room and Bistro. You will assist with food preparation, hospitality tasks, and bussing, while opening and closing dining areas as needed.

You will also train and mentor junior team members, help onboard new hires, and ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards. Prior leadership experience and a Food Handler permit are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Current Food Handlers Permit required.
• ServSafe training beneficial.
• One year of food service experience preferred.
• Prior leadership or team lead experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and serving, including bussing tables.
• Serve residents and guests in Dining Room or Bistro.
• Bus and reset tables.
• Prepare salad bar items and desserts; stage items for service.
• Assist in setup for meetings and special events.
• Provide training to team members and onboarding support.
• Follow sanitation guidelines and safety regulations.
• Open and close dining rooms as needed.
