Job summary

Kennesaw State University is seeking a Lead Dining Operations Associate for the Stingers location in Marietta, GA. This role supports supervisors with daily tasks, oversees service flow, and ensures health and sanitation compliance, while developing employees.

Qualifications

  • ServSafe Food Handler Certification is preferred.
  • An undergraduate or advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Previous lead or supervisor experience in a retail, food service or restaurant location is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure staff are trained in brand, unit or station standards.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintain inventory and order supplies in line with health codes and standards.

  • Ensure compliance with health and food safety codes.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the building, location, and stations.
  • Cross-train across locations to support operations.
  • May serve food from assigned station or location.

Job Summary

Assists supervisors and managers with daily tasks for thedesignated location. Assists with daily operational and serviceneeds, task delegation for the team, customer service needs, food,sanitation and health safety compliance and developingemployees.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Assists supervisor with oversight of assigned staff alongwith execution and monitoring of work
  2. Trains assigned employees according to established policies andprocedures
  3. Ensures all employees are aware and trained in brand, unit orstation standards
  4. Assists the location supervisor to include opening and closingprocedures
  5. Assists with maintaining and taking inventory and orderssupplies as needed that comply with brand and/or station standards,health code and regulations
  6. Responsible for oversight of position and break rotations
  7. Ensures compliance with all food and health related safety codesand regulations
  8. Ensures cleanliness of building, location and/or station.
  9. Cross-trained of all areas in the given location or building andable to support where needed
  10. May serve food from assigned station, location, and/or asassigned
Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent

Required Experience

One (1) year of dining related experience

Additional Preferred Qualifications

ServSafe Food Handler Certification

Preferred Educational Qualifications

An undergraduate or advanced degree from an accredited institutionof higher education in a related field

Preferred Experience

Previous lead or supervisor experience in a retail, food service orrestaurant location

Proposed Salary
