Job summary

Science is an early stage company developing technologies for unmet medical needs and seeks an experienced lead digital IC designer to develop digital IPs and ASICs for our custom ICs, collaborating with the micro-fabrication group, electrical engineers, and software developers.

You will design digital IPs and chips used in photonic components, focusing on area, power, and timing within RTL-to-GDS workflows. A BS in Electrical Engineering and a proven silicon track record are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of RTL-based digital design capture and verification.
• Solid CMOS digital IC design knowledge and standard-cell flows.
• Fluency in Verilog/SystemVerilog and Real-Number modeling/verification.
• Proven track record delivering digital IPs in fabricated silicon.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of digital IPs and chips for our custom photonic components.
• Collaborate with micro-fabrication, electrical engineers, and software teams.
• Ensure timing, area, and power goals are met in the RTL-to-GDS flow.
