Job summary

Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital is seeking a senior analyst to drive the quality department's digital HEDIS strategy within the quality measurement analytics team. You will lead efforts to improve data capabilities and automate reporting, supporting HEDIS/QARR/Star metrics.

Responsibilities include data governance of clinical and supplemental sources, collaboration with IT and auditors for digital readiness, and presenting dashboards to stakeholders to guide strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in analytical/quantitative field.
• 5–8+ years of healthcare analytics experience.
• Advanced knowledge of HEDIS and Medicare Stars.
• Proficiency with electronic clinical quality measures data sources.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of HEDIS/QARR/Star reporting and dashboards.
• Improve data capabilities and automated reporting.
• Manage data governance of clinical and supplemental sources.
• Collaborate with IT, vendors, and auditors on digital readiness.
• Identify new data sources for quality metrics.
• Present analyses to stakeholders for strategic decisions.
• Oversee data quality and trend analysis.
• Guide end-to-end analytics projects.
