Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Forensic Digital Evidence Advisor to support ICITAP programs. The role focuses on mobile and computer evidentiary analysis, mentoring host-country examiners, and ensuring sound procedures from collection to court production.

You will train on OS basics, evidence handling, and use of tools like Detego, Magnet AXIOM, EnCase, and Autopsy, while coordinating with U.S. DoS/DOJ partners and maintaining chain of custody standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related digital evidence examination experience.
• Experience using a wide variety of extraction and analysis tools besides Cellebrite (Detego, Magnet AXIOM, EnCase, Autopsy).
• Experience training other forensic examiners and first responders.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust US Government Clearance (US Citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor host-country examiners on forensics practices and chain of custody.
• Advise on procurement, testing, use, and maintenance of digital tools.
• Deliver instruction in security assessments and link analysis.
• Lead working groups and draft technical reports/briefings for U.S. government stakeholders.
• Assist labs in QA/QC and alignment with international standards.
