Job summary

Amentum, a premier global services partner, seeks a Forensic Digital Evidence Advisor to mentor host-country experts in mobile and computer forensics under ICITAP. This independent contractor role supports DoJ programs and involves training on operating systems, evidence collection, triage, analysis, and court-ready reporting.

The position requires strong communication and at least 5 years of experience with digital forensics tools; eligibility for Public Trust clearance is necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related digital evidence examination experience.
• Experience using a wide variety of extraction and analysis tools beyond Cellebrite (Detego, Magnet AXIOM, EnCase, Autopsy).
• Experience training other forensic examiners and first responders.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Clearable: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust US Government Clearance. Asset: US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor host-country examiners on operating systems, digital forensics best practices, chain of custody management, and forensic report writing.
• Advise partners on procurement, testing, use, and maintenance of digital extraction and analysis tools.
• Deliver specialized instruction in security assessments, link analysis, and digital evidence exploitation.
• Lead working groups, facilitate bilateral meetings, and draft comprehensive technical reports and progress briefings for U.S. government stakeholders.
• Assist host-country labs in developing quality management systems, reviewing SOPs, and aligning with international forensic standards.
