Job summary

Amentum seeks a qualified Forensic Digital Evidence Advisor to mentor host-country experts in digital forensics, operating systems, and evidence handling. You will train on collection, triage, examination, and court production of digital evidence from phones, PCs, and other devices.

You will lead and participate in workshops with DoS/DOJ officials, develop reports, and ensure procedures meet international standards. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related digital evidence examination experience.
• Experience using a wide variety of extraction and analysis tools beyond Cellebrite.
• Experience training other forensic examiners and first responders.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must obtain and maintain Public Trust US Government Clearance (US Citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor host-country examiners on OS, digital forensics and chain of custody.
• Advise on procurement, testing, and maintenance of digital extraction and analysis tools.
• Deliver instruction in security assessments, link analysis, and digital evidence exploitation.
• Lead working groups, facilitate meetings, and draft technical reports for U.S. government stakeholders.
• Assist host-country labs in establishing quality management systems and aligning with standards.
