Amentum is seeking a qualified Forensic Digital Evidence Advisor to mentor host-country experts in digital forensics, data collection, triage, and court-ready reporting. The advisor will train on operating systems and evidence types from phones and computers, and guide equipment use to ensure proper chain of custody and analysis workflows.

The role includes leading meetings, drafting reports, and collaborating with DoS/DOJ officials. Independent contractor status applies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of digital evidence examination experience.
• Proficiency with Detego, AXIOM, EnCase, or Autopsy tools.
• Experience training forensic examiners and first responders.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor host-country examiners on forensics basics and reports.
• Advise on procurement, testing, and maintenance of digital tools.
• Deliver instruction in security assessments and link analysis.
• Lead working groups and draft technical reports for US stakeholders.
• Support labs in QA/QC and SOP alignment with standards.
