Job summary

Axiom Space seeks a resilient Manager, Digital Electronics to lead the design, development, integration, and certification of aerospace digital systems. You will guide embedded hardware, FPGA development, and avionics through the full lifecycle with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, high-reliability products.

You will drive technical excellence, process maturity, and collaboration with avionics, tests, and software groups while upholding aerospace safety standards and delivery

Qualifications

• Experience leading electrical engineering teams and full product lifecycles.
• Strong knowledge of digital circuit design, FPGA architectures, embedded systems.
• Experience with regulated aerospace/defense safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers for Digital Electronics across programs.
• Oversee design, verification, and qualification of digital hardware (FPGA-based, embedded, avionics).
• Establish and enforce unified electrical engineering standards and best practices.
• Champion design assurance, testing rigor, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Balance priorities with program managers and functional leaders; manage risks.
• Define acceptance criteria and ensure quality thresholds for the discipline.
