Axiom Space seeks a resilient, high-energy Manager, Electrical Specialties to lead a team of engineers ensuring EMI/EMC, EEE parts, radiation effects across spacecraft programs. This leader drives engineering excellence with process maturity and compliance across the full engineering lifecycle.

The role blends technical leadership with people development to deliver high‑reliability systems, mentor talent, and meet customer requirements while advancing industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics or related technical discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of engineering experience in aerospace/defense/space systems.
• 3+ years of technical leadership or people management.
• Expertise in EMI/EMC, EEE parts engineering, radiation effects, grounding & bonding.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Electrical Specialties engineers supporting EMI/EMC, EEE parts, radiation effects, grounding and bonding.
• Establish technical strategy, priorities, and resource plans across spacecraft programs.
• Oversee EMI/EMC analyses, testing, and qualification to meet regulatory requirements.
• Direct EEE parts selection, qualification, approval, obsolescence management, and failure review processes.
• Provide leadership for radiation effects assessment and mitigation strategies.
• Review and approve engineering analyses, requirements, specs, test plans, and certification docs.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and reduce program risk.
• Support customer engagements, design reviews, audits, and technical presentations as SME.
