Job summary

Veterans Health Administration seeks a Supervisory Dietitian (Food Operations) at the Nashville VA Medical Center. You will oversee food service and production operations, supervising staff and aligning with nutrition management to meet Veteran meal needs.

The role includes ensuring quality and safety through HACCP, regulatory compliance, training, audits, and performance improvement initiatives. Telework is eligible; typical schedule is weekdays at the facility.

Qualifications

• ACEND accredited programs are required.
• Experience supervising staff in food service operations.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff in food service and production operations.
• Serve as professional and technical advisor to staff and other health care professionals.
• Coordinate food service policies with clinical nutrition management, nursing, and other services.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and procedures.
• Lead performance improvement efforts and internal audits.
• Implement HACCP program and contingency plans.
• Onboard and train employees related to food service and food production.
