Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in healthcare, science, food service/nutrition/dietetics, management, or culinary arts preferred.
• In progress or completed Associate's or bachelor's degree in one of these areas preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
• Six months experience in hospital or healthcare setting or supervisory role; DTR/NDTR eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates effective organizational skills in taking meal selections; adheres to script and menu items.
• Obtains meal selections quickly and accurately while meeting standard call length and patient visits per meal period.
• Maintains readiness to take patient meal calls and obtain meal selections.
• Accurately corrects patient menu selections via computerized diet system, considering restrictions, space, and patient preferences with high accuracy.
