Mountain View Post Acute in Washington state is seeking a Dietary Director to lead our dietary team and ensure meals meet safety, nutrition, and individualized resident needs. You will supervise staff, manage menus, inventory, and stay compliant with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

You must have completed an approved dietary manager’s course.
At least 1 year in a long-term care facility dietary department preferred.
Ability to lead a team and manage staff schedules.

Responsibilities

Lead food preparation and ensure meals are safe, tasty, and meet residents' dietary needs.
Supervise dietary staff from hiring to daily oversight.
Manage inventory, orders, and ensure kitchen compliance and cleanliness.
Coordinate special meals and nutrition services with other departments.
Maintain documentation, diet orders, and resident nutritional assessments.
Ensure compliance with state and federal health regulations and participate in inspections.
