Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Lead Diesel Technician in Thompson, Ohio to diagnose and repair diesel trucks, trailers and heavy equipment. The role involves performing PMs, diagnostics, and occasional welding in a shop setting with independence and reliability.

Schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm, with overtime opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package. CDL is preferred but not strictly required for consideration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience.
• Experience with trucks, trailers and heavy equipment.
• Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs.
• Mechanical, hydraulic and welding experience.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
• Service loaders, skid steers, forklifts, concrete mixers and other equipment.
• Perform PMs, diagnostics and troubleshooting; occasional welding.
• Work independently and respond to occasional roadside repair needs.

What You Will Do

• Diagnose and repair diesel trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
• Service loaders, skid steers, forklifts, concrete mixers, and other equipment.
• Perform PMs, diagnostics, troubleshooting (and occasional welding).
• Be able to work independently and respond to occasional roadside repair needs.

What We Are Looking For

• At least 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience.
• Strong experience with trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
• Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs.
• Mechanical, hydraulic, and welding experience.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record. CDL preferred.

What We Offer

• Schedule: Mon to Fri, generally 7am to 4pm
• Salary: $30to $35/hour to start (depending on experience)
• Overtime: Readily available, with most mechanics working 40 to 50 hours per week.
