Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is seeking a Diesel Technician Lead in Dallas, TX. This safety-sensitive role inspects, diagnoses and repairs diesel-powered vehicles, driving diagnostics and component replacements as needed. You will lead peers, ensure safe operation and advise on repair-related matters.

The position requires 5+ years as a diesel technician, with DOT experience and strong diagnostic skills. Regular hours are Mon-Fri, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional diesel technician experience.
• Completion of a mechanics or truck repair program preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills using electronic equipment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and repairs on company vehicles.
• Diagnose malfunctions and repair diesel equipment with diagnostics.
• Test drive to verify repairs and safety.
• Replace parts and assemblies as needed.
• Guide and support teammates to ensure safe operation.
• Comply with applicable federal and state regulations.
