Job summary

Saia Motor Freight Line LLC is seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic Supervisor to oversee maintenance and repair of trucks and trailers at our Dallas area facility. You will supervise cross-functional teams, review diagnostics, and ensure safety and quality standards are met in daily operations.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 years of diesel experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to train and guide shop personnel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• 6 years of diesel mechanic experience preferred.
• Proficiency with diagnostic software preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Supervises maintenance and repair tasks on trucks and trailers.
• Instructs mechanics on diagnosis of failures and proper repair practices.
• Maintains detailed records of maintenance activities and vehicle status.
• Performs inspections and repairs on trailers and dollies.
• Prepares reports on maintenance activities and equipment status.
