Job summary

WM is seeking a Lead Diesel Mechanic in Wellford, SC for 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, with no weekends. You’ll inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems across a broad fleet, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting, diagnosing and repairing electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
• Estimate time and material costs for repairs and new parts.
• Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
• Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
