R. B. Hinkle Construction, a division of Primoris Services Corporation, seeks a Lead Diesel Mechanic to oversee maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of heavy diesel equipment and vehicles at Sterling, VA.

You will lead a team of mechanics, ensure safety, quality, and timely completion of repairs, and mentor staff while coordinating field service calls as needed. Strong diagnostic and leadership skills required; ASE certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; related college coursework preferred.
• 5–7 years as a Diesel Mechanic; 2+ years in lead or supervisory role.
• ASE certifications for heavy-duty trucks or equipment preferred.
• CDL desired; valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose, repair, and overhaul diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Lead and mentor a team of diesel mechanics, providing guidance and feedback.
• Schedule and prioritize work orders; ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Document repairs, maintenance, and inspections accurately; ensure safety compliance.
