Job summary

American Carton Company in Mansfield, TX seeks an experienced supervisor to direct the cutting presses, oversee the scrapping, and coordinate sheeted/printed stock across departments. You will ensure schedules are followed and layouts are prepared for jobs and dies.

You will also manage die cutter operators, train staff, review department paperwork, place orders for dies, and step in to operate cutting presses when needed, ensuring efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of problem-solving cutting press operations and thorough knowledge of cutting press functions and maintenance procedures as required.
• Previous experience creating layouts is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Directs the operator of the cutting presses and the members of the scrapping department. Monitors other operations such as sheeting and finishing departments. Follows schedule and direct cutting dept. on stock being sheeted and printed for cutting press.
• Manage die cutter operators and scrapping department, training of all die cutter operators, review of all paperwork completed in the department, creating die layouts, order cutting dies and stepping in to operate the die cutters when needed.
