Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital is seeking a Lead Dialysis Technician to provide leadership and training to Dialysis Technologists. You will help develop policies, evaluate equipment, and maintain QA/QC audits while supporting CRRT and PD procedures for acutely ill patients.

Working days are 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. with rotating weekends and holidays; you will back up call-in support and help ensure high-quality care in a Magnet Hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified Dialysis Technician (CDT) and maintain current certification.
• BLS through AHA or Red Cross.
• 3 years of Dialysis Technician II level experience including CRRT and PD therapy.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train Dialysis Technologists.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures.
• Evaluate equipment and supplies; ensure QA/QC audits and proper documentation.
• Perform CRRT and PD on acutely ill patients; provide back-up call-in support.
• Maintain inventory and prepare dialysis mixtures and baths.
• Assist with troubleshooting equipment and basic usage issues.
