Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital in Cleveland is hiring a Dialysis Technician I to provide Intermittent Hemodialysis care under supervision. This PRN role requires training during the first week with shifts from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., including rotating Saturdays and holidays.

The unit cares for patients with kidney failure and related conditions within a Magnet-certified hospital setting. You will collaborate with licensed staff, manage dialysis procedures, support equipment, and contribute

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• CDT certification maintained current
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross

Responsibilities

• Clarify prescribed dialysis care regimen with licensed practitioner when unclear
• Notify practitioner if not following prescribed regimen and ensure patient safety
• Administer medications when delegated by RN or physician per Ohio law
• Assist with water, dialysate prep and other duties with the team
• Troubleshoot basic equipment and address issues as needed
• Monitor and chart central water system and maintain 5S zone
• Support and train other staff and participate in research projects
