Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams (abdominal, OB/Gyn) using real-time and mobile equipment.
• Observe regional radiation and department safety policies.
• Document clinical activities timely and accurately; communicate with radiologists for clarification of orders.
• Coordinate scheduling and patient appointments by telephone, mail, or in person where applicable.
• Provide compassionate service and maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment and transducers according to department protocols.
• Adapt patient positioning and technical factors to patient age and body habitus.
