Job summary

Profitroom is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to own the backbone of our cloud-driven platforms. You will guide technical direction, optimize the SDLC, and collaborate with development teams to ensure scalable, secure infrastructures.

Requirements include 5+ years in DevOps or similar roles, strong Linux/Kubernetes/Docker, IaC with Ansible/Terraform, and proficiency across MariaDB, NGINX, PHP/Node.js/Python. This role offers full remote work and a competitive PLN salary range.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven DevOps/SysOps/Linux Admin experience with distributed infrastructures.
• Strong proficiency with Linux (Rocky Linux), Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and FluxCD.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, and GitLab CI for IaC and automation.
• Solid understanding of MariaDB, NGINX, and backend apps (PHP, Node.js, Python).
• 2+ years production experience with DigitalOcean, AWS, and/or GCP.
• Fluent Polish (C1) and professional English (B2).
• Familiarity with Rundeck, n8n, Clickhouse, ELK stack.
• Knowledge of PCI-compliant infrastructures and advanced security standards.

Responsibilities

• Own infrastructure across 400+ VMs and drive reliable, scalable environments.
• Lead CI/CD automation to support releases and optimize pipelines.
• Provide proactive monitoring and rapid resolution of complex system issues.
• Automate SDLC processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
