Job summary

Synechron is seeking a DevOps Engineer to develop, implement, and maintain software applications while leading complex, high-priority initiatives. This role blends hands-on engineering, automation, production support, and team leadership across cross-functional teams.

You will design and support environments for DevOps tools, build and enhance CI/CD pipelines, and promote Agile/DevOps practices to improve reliability and efficiency across our global technology stack.

Qualifications

• Strong programming, scripting, and automation skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling, and cloud technologies.
• Strong application troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support capabilities.
• Ability to lead complex initiatives and coach engineering teams.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex code across multiple languages, with a strong focus on automation.
• Configure, install, maintain, and tune application systems to improve performance and reliability.
• Design and support environments for DevOps tools and automate environment provisioning.
• Build and enhance continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues in collaboration with developers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Provide production support and drive improvements in system reliability and operational efficiency.
• Lead and mentor a small, multidisciplinary engineering team and guide the broader engineering community.
• Promote cloud adoption, engineering best practices, and Agile/DevOps principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet business objectives and customer needs.
• Encourage innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
